The buzz-worthy movie, though financially successful, did not garner the positive reviews that the other Potter movies received.  Getting a rating of 73% from Rotten Tomatoes, puts Fantastic Beasts in last compared with the original films (the highest being Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 with a rating of 96%). It received an average mark of 66 out of 100, from a group 50 well known movie critics. Many people believe that it did not reach the standard set by the original films.
